BLS International Service charge
Applicants applying at the Spanish visa application centre shall be levied a service charge of INR 1237 /- for Mumbai and INR 1237/- for New Delhi (Inclusive of 18% GST) payable in cash. Children under 6 are exempted from service charge.
The above mentioned Visa fee and BLS service charge can be paid in the form of Cash / Demand Draft's / IMPS / RTGS or NEFT.

As per instruction received from Consulate of Spain, Checklist Mumbai needs to be duly filled in by the Applicant/Travel Agent/Authorized representative and needs to submit along with the Visa Application.

Applicants are informed that travel medical insurance issued by only approved Indian insurance companies will be accepted. Please find the below link to check the list of approved Travel Insurance Companies. Apart from the names listed below one can take travel insurance from any insurance company based in Spain.
Note: Company Bank Statements (Current A/c statement) are not acceptable.

If Bio metric is already given on or after 2nd of November 2015 then Bio metric data is valid for 59 Months from that date and applicant can send someone else on his/her behalf with a declaration letter for submission of the application stating that “I *Applicant’s name* holding passport number *Applicant’s Passport Number* hereby authorize Mr/Ms or Mrs to submit my visa application on my behalf.” and A Bio-metric Letter stating that “I do not wish to visit the centre for Bio metric as I have already given my Bio metric on _ and _ date. However, if Spain consulate does not find my valid Bio metric data then I do not have any problem to visit BLS centre to give my Bio metrics.”
Note: The above is not an exhaustive list of documentation. Applicant can be requested to submit additional documents or may be called for an Interview (if required) by the Consulate General of Spain - Mumbai. The visa fee, according to Schengen regulations, is non-refundable.
All affidavits should be made on Rs. 100/- Stamp paper with notary seal.
Spain Visa Applicants for MUMBAI Jurisdiction ‐ A Minimum of 15 days (excluding your submission date and your travel date) gap is required between the date of application submission to the date of travel out of India for submission at BLS International Services Visa application centre.
A jurisdiction is defined as if the Applicant is residing at the location for more than 6 months. E.g. Applicant with passport issued in the state of Haryana, but staying & working in Kerala can submit the application at the office in Mumbai Jurisdiction with valid proof of residence.
(For Residence proof: Photocopy of Rent Agreement / NOC letter from company mentioning current address and date of residence of the applicant in Original/ Photocopy of Sale Deed or In case if anyone is residing with their relatives, We require Affidavit from the relevant relatives on Rs. 100/- stamp paper & Property papers of the same)
Kindly note that if the documents are in any regional language, they must be translated to English or Spanish by any language institute with official stamp and signature of the translation institute/agency.
In case of refusal of visa and you wish to appeal, You need to submit your appeal that is in agreement with the established procedure in the denial sheet.
Please be informed that the denial document provided specifies the appeal procedure to be followed in case you do not agree with the decision taken by Consulate General of Spain, Mumbai. This procedure is mentioned in the denial letter. Furthermore, any additional documents which you feel would support your file can be submitted for the appeal procedure. Please note you need not to submit your Passport in an appeal case. The decision on a appeal case can take up to one month. This appeal has to be submitted at the BLS Visa Application centre under Mumbai Jurisdiction.
Alternatively, you can also make a fresh visa application by procuring an appointment at the BLS centre. In this case, you will need to provide us with 15 days in order to process your visa.
Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Embassy of Spain/Consulate General of Spain. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note as per the instructions received from Embassy of Spain/Consulate General of Spain, minimum processing time is 15 calender days (It may delay depending on case to case).
All applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior excluding the submission date and the travel date from India.
